Representative William O’Brien of New Hampshire has filed a complaint against the principal campaign committee of Bernie Sanders (Bernie 2016) and the Australian Labor Party (ALP).
The legal complaint was filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
O’Brien, a Republican, based his complaint on evidence obtained from Project Veritas which documents the Australian group working for the Bernie Sanders’ campaign ahead of the NH primary.
In a strongly worded press release, the lawmaker accuses the ALP and the Sanders’ campaign of what amounts to collusion.
Project Veritas Action Fund’s report shows nothing less than a concerted effort by a foreign socialist party to improperly influence the 2016 presidential election and the acquiescence of Sen. Sanders’ campaign to that violation of our federal election laws.
O’Brien calls upon the FEC to “investigate this scandal, declare the fact that Bernie 2016 and the Australian Labor Party have committed these illegal acts, and impose appropriate fines and sanctions to prevent others from following their lead.”

This is the latest in a gathering cloud over Bernie 2016’s use of Foreign Nationals in the candidate’s presidential campaign. Bernie 2016 has already been found in violation of accepting prohibited donations from Foreign Nationals.

Why is this just now coming to light? I thought Bernie Sanders was supposed to be above reproach. I guess not.
